I called back after pressing buy, they said 5 months. On the day of the work, no one came or called. I called the company back and the gentleman said he'd been ill and would call us when he was better. I understand him not calling as he said it was a very serious illness, but that was in October and we've heard nothing and it's almost February. Out of concern for him, I left it alone and hope I hear from him and that he is well. We tried again. I booked a car detailing appointment. My husband took half a day off work to go there for his appointment, they said they accepted people who just showed up that day and couldn't take him. He rescheduled. He was told to go somewhere and after 40 minutes, received a call that the heaters were not working at the place and the work could not be done again. We contacted dealfind about getting a refund. We cannot waste any more time. After at least 6 different attempts to get a hold of them, they wrote back saying that the company had said they had appointments available, so we won't be getting a refund??? We were there, two times and the work wasn't done. Feel like we must warn others out there so that they don't have to deal with this kind of frustration and utter lack of customer care. No deals to be found there.

Have only had positive experiences with Wag Jag and Groupon so far.

Re: Groupon, Dealfind, whatever you call it, educate yourself before you buy in

I as well had bad experiences with Dealfind. I purchased a voucher and went to order the product on-line. The order was confirmed, but the product never came. Emailing back and forth with Dealfind finally results in refund of my money. That is what I hope, since it has not happened yet.
I also used Groupon a few times and so far dont have bad experiences. However, from now on I will be selective in what I buy and from where.

Re: What Companies are saying about HomeStars

Guys cheque which company going on heating and which going on duct cleaning company custumere dont now how come company what performe only duct cleaning listing on heating category.tHANK YOU

Re: Groupon, Dealfind, whatever you call it, educate yourself before you buy in

I ordered a gift for Christmas for my son from DEALFIND. After several emails, and promises with delivery dates it still has not come and my son is still waiting. This form of hasselfree shopping is anything but. I cannot get anyone to help me. Be prepared. What makes it worse is that his friend got the deal item (mechanical shark) at a local store in Whitby. Still waiting...........and not buying from Dealfind anymore.

Re: New Site Features Bring Transparency to Review Approval Process

Colleen removes everything that might point out a bad contractor

Re: Great Kitchen Planning websites

John Kitchen, president and CEO of Ogontz Avenue Redevlopment Corp.
and founder of ... It took me awhile though and I am studying a ton about Facebook Ads, Design and Engagement...so I didn't want to give up here and this is what I needed to do to finally get things to work:

1. While on the Facebook Developers Page I went to SETTINGS -----> ADVANCED -------> MIGRATION - Look under here for IFRAME PAGE TAB and click ENABLED
2. Now go down below further under CANVAS SETTINGS and look for CANVAS TYPE - here make sure the button is on IFrame

SAVE CHANGES at bottom and then head back to refresh your Facebook Page.

This might be different for others but thought it might help - see screen captures below here v

Re: When an emergency hits – homeowners go to HomeStars

With more than 40 colors available, they offer a new universal language of style that makes shopping super simple and fun!

Re: Groupon, Dealfind, whatever you call it, educate yourself before you buy in

Have purchased 4 groupons so far and only had one bad experience. We've determined that Facebook only allows a domain name one time use. We're trying to figure out a better (easier) way of doing this whole process.
Until then, try using a different namespace. Something like "yourcompanyname-reviews" and that should work.
And, of course, when you get it going, feel free to post the link here.

Re: Add Your HomeStars Reviews to your Facebook Fan Page

HI

I'm trying to add this on my facebook fan page but when I add "homestars-reviews" as the "App Nemespace", I get the following error:

ErrorUnable to update App Namespace: The App Namespace you requested is already taken.

Re: Where to Buy Eco-Friendly Hardwood Flooring

Nadurra Wood Corp is an FSC Certified retailer/distributor of hardwood (maple, oak, cherry, ash, hickory and walnut) and bamboo flooring.
